I have long been a participant of a special project for pet photographers, named “Project 52”. For this project a group of pet photographers comes together and takes photographs around that week’s theme. The goal is to step outside your comfort zone, and challenge yourself to do things you would normally not do. By doing this, you learn more, you learn to think out of the box and you improve your photography! It’s been a year since I last had the time to participate, so I am beyond happy to jump back in. This week theme is “Green”. It’s still a bit of a challenge to find green in nature as everything is still transitioning, but I think I found a few good images with a green theme!
Doesn’t he just look like the happiest dog alive? Or Cutest?? I know, I know, I’m biased 😉
And while he is not technically a pet, it’s the third time I saw this little guy hanging around my back porch, and since he is GREEN he gets a honorary spot in today’s project 52’s post. I’m pretty sure it’s an Anole Lizard. He absolutely loves to lounge in the sun on my porch, and IÂ really like having him around! Sadly I haven’t been able to catch a picture of him with his Throat Fan bared but maybe in the future I will!
Let me know what you think of these images in the comments!!

I really like your second shot. You’ve captured such fun and happiness!
On a somewhat unrelated note, I love your logo and website! This is the first time I’ve visited it and it caught me eye immediately!
Thank you Jessica! I did a complete rebrand last year, however because I knew I was moving from CA to NC in a few months I kept it to myself until after the move. So glad to hear you like it, I get a lot of positive feedback on it!
Love all of these images. The dog just pops with that green background.
Oh my goodness what a beautiful beautiful dog! Love your use of green! Especially love the bright green of the lizard!
I love the movement in your images! Beautiful greens too!
Very nice. Hard to do a photo with green trees ’cause you don’t want the color to overpower. Very nice. And love the little lizard – very clever.
Cutest dog ever! Love all of your images. I am very partial to lizards, so I am glad you included this guy!
